Kunststube.net is creating art in most meanings of the word. We're a team of two international-thinking and creative individuals, David Zentgraf and Ah Jeong Shin. David is a computer scientist, graphics enthusiast and self-appointed web designer from Germany, Ah Jeong a Korean-Japanese painter and illustrator. Together we're producing things of beauty which try to be just a little bit different, while keeping all of the traditional good values.
The simple story is that we came together in Hokkaido in 2005, at a time when we where both escapees from our former careers at Sony Holland and an infrastructure consulting company in Osaka respectively. We quickly discovered our mutual interest in creating things, AJ in form of illustrations and paintings and David in form of digital media. From there the natural course of things brought us to form an internet start-up a small design company. We managed to score a few jobs through it and have learned a lot from the experience already. This is Kunststube version 3.0, and we're prouder than ever, but we're not stopping here.
